PRESIDENT

Skylar started Palmetto Concrete Group in 2016. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Physics.   

He began his career in commercial construction working for a general contractor as a project manager and superintendent for 11 years. During this time he managed numerous projects ranging from civic, education, government, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial.

Skylar is a licensed Mechanical Contractor in the state of South Carolina. He was a past President of the Charleston Contractors’ Association and has served on the board since 2011. Skylar is a LEED accredited professional and has successfully completed several LEED projects.  He also achieved the honor of Eagle Scout.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER 

Daniel graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Environmental Science and Minors in Forestry and Business Management. 

He  joined the team in February 2019 bringing his experience in the construction industry to create estimates, assist with project management, and build client relations. Prior to joining the team, Daniel, worked for a local civil contractor and redi-mix provider where he worked as an estimator and sales representative. 

Daniel is active in the Associated General Contractors of the Carolinas and serves on the Specialty Contractors Advisory Council and is involved in the CAGC Young Leaders Program. He regularly attends Charleston Contractors' Association meetings and events and strives to promote our strong reputation in the Lowcountry and beyond.
